Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers dropped a potential playoff- and AFC North-clinching game Sunday, falling 13-6 on the road to Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns.

The Steelers (9-7) could have locked up a playoff berth with a victory over last-place Cleveland, or if the Baltimore Ravens (8-8) had lost to Green Bay on Saturday. The Ravens remained alive with a 41-24 triumph over the Packers.

The Steelers’ T.J. Watt is expected to be on the field when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the Cleveland Browns in a game that could decide the AFC North. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Watt,

The Steelers will for sure be without D.K. Metcalf, their leading receiver, who is serving a two-game suspension after an altercation with a Lions fan last week. Pittsburgh also ruled out star edge rusher T.J. Watt, who is working his way back from a collapsed lung.

Sanders has delivered uneven results since taking over as Cleveland’s starter in Week 12. Across six games (five starts) this season, he has completed 92 of 167 passes (55.1 percent) for 1,103 yards, six touchdowns and eight interceptions. He has also contributed as a runner, totaling 14 carries for 123 yards and one rushing touchdown.

Almost six years after this final game at Auburn, tight end Sal Cannella is on the doorstep of his NFL regular-season debut. On Saturday, the Cleveland Browns elevated Cannella from their practice squad, making him eligible to play in Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
